The Elevenses is a charity campaign with the simple goal of getting as many Australians to donate $11 to the East Africa famine appeal by 11/11/11. All money raised will go directly to the charities making the biggest impact on the ground in East Africa. This famine is threatening the lives of over 12 million people. The situation could not be more dire.

Will you help us save lives by donating $11? Of course, if you can spare more, you can donate $111, or $1,111 or even $11,111. It all goes directly to the charities that are on the ground in the Horn of Africa, working in the refugee camps and in the areas most affected by the drought.

$11 is not much to ask. Just one dollar can feed four malnourished children. Times that by eleven and you start seeing the impact your donation can have.
